discovering more Miller Family History....
  • Bernhard Mueller Born late 1600's came to America on the ship PATIENCE in 1749
  • VALENTINE Mueller was born 1754 was in the REVOLUTIONARY WAR
  • He married Susanna GROVER (Gruver) in 1778
  • John George Miller was born in 1779 ( my 4 times Great Grandpa )
  • George G Miller was born in 1815 ( my 3 times Great Grandpa )
  • Theodore G Miller was born in 1842 ( this is who made the tobacco box )
  • Elbert Austin Miller was born in 1874 ( this is who wrote the financial journals from 1912 that we are documenting each month )
  • Allen Ott Miller was born in 1912 ( my Grandpa )
  • Richard Allen Miller was born in 1939 ( my Dad )
OK...so here are some cool facts......so I (Wendy MILLER) married Ross VALENTINE in 1996 and we live on GROVER road ..... my Grandpa was born in 1912....and when we get to the month of June.....they spent an incredible amount of money in 1912 to buy their only child new clothes and have photos taken of him......I just love how everything is connected.

Today was my dad's birthday...my brother Tom was also born on this day. Happy Birthday!

we found another cool antique from the Miller Family.....it is a TOBACCO BOX...it was made out a solid piece of wood by my Great Great Grandpa Theodore G Miller...1842 - 1913 and from the other items we found...this was probably made about 1860...so it is over 150 years old.....just Amazing!!!

the wording inside the lid (written with a pencil) reads:
Theo G. Miller
Tobbaco Box
Made by Him

March 3, 2012

Crazy tornado season already starting....over 100 tornadoes and 35+ people perished......worse March in history and we are only 3 days in.

Had stuffed green peppers for dinner.....I made these back in November 2011 and froze them.....added some toppings...put it in the oven and instant dinner.....love it!!!

made some whipped topping for the jello....we use a dry mix from GFS.....use equal amounts of cold water and mix.....start with a big bowl filled with ice cubes.....put the water and mix in a smaller bowl on top of the ice.....blend it together for about 5-6 minutes.....it will set up enough to use immediately but better if it can sit in the fridge for a bit.

The Big 9 Sportsmen club burned down this afternoon.....glad no one was hurt.

Scary Strong Winds.....we have had some 50+ mile an hour gusts....hope all the trees stay put!!!
