got a text late last night that my Mom had been taken into
the hospital with stroke like symptoms...so kind of a rough
night......found out this evening that it is vertigo....now
we will see what the plan is...Thanks for the Prayers!!!

did a few projects around the house and then we
finally got to use the new tool we bought on ebay....
well....it is not exactly new.....it was made in 1901....
we borrowed some twine from our neighbor and started to make
our first rope....
all finished......just AMAZING!!!!
the finished size was right for a jump rope.....it took us about 15 minutes
to complete it.....once we get better at it, we will take a movie and post it.
The purpose for the Rope Maker was for the handrails going upstairs
to the landing.....we are redoing that room and have gone with a nautical
theme....when i priced out rope for the handrails, it was cheaper (and cooler)
if we made them ourselves.....we will do some practice runs and then try
to make the 15 - 20 foot rope....very exciting!!!
