tonights meal was ....
CHILI: ...this receipe is for a 12 quart stock pot
3/4 full of tomatoes (blanched)
1/2 cup chives
2 1/2 cups Chili Powder(GFS)
1/3 cup Aujus - paste or powder (GFS)
4 cups diced onions
Bring to a rolling boil...can in quart jars with 1/4 headspace for 25 minutes in a pressure cooker at 15lbs
We normally add venison or hamburger to it but tonight I made it with stew beef......just add the meat and some beans ....let it simmer a bit...and you are good to go.

We started this blog January 1 of 2012 with the goal to make as much as we could from the farm.....we had a wonderful year long journey and plan to continue on in 2013...not everyday as we did in 2012, but the spring, summer and fall should be quite active.
