The CHICKENS have arrived.....
got the call at 6:30 am to pick up the chicks at the post office

( she is our 14 year old lab and has done this with every brood )

Some of the rules we follow when we bring baby chicks home.....
- Brooding area must be around 90 - 95 degrees
- at least 2 inches of litter/bedding in the brooding bucket
- just water for the first hour - with a little sugar in it for the first day
- starter / grower crumbles for the first 10 weeks
- NEVER let them run out of food or water
- ALWAYS wash your hands when you handle the chicks
A big shout out to Mt Healthy Hatcheries in Mt Healthy OH .....we ordered 40 chicks and we recieved 40 healthy, bright eyed and active little bundles of feathers....we are pleased AGAIN with your service!!!
