Started this morning with the National Day of Prayer Breakfast held at the Hanover-Horton Middle School Cafeteria.....we get there at 6am to put the coffee on...it starts at 6:30am and runs until 7:20am.....didn't have a big turn out this year but the prayers and the fellowship were excellent.

the plants in the green house are doing great....the last 2 days it has been in the mid to upper 80's outside and very humid.....yesterday the green house stayed right at 80...but today it was 90 all day long...I turned the ceiling fan and the fans in the peaks on to get it to cool down a bit but it stayed right at 90 until sunset.
All of the plants have sprouted now except for some of the peppers (which are always the last to pop) some of the Bell Peppers started showing a few days ago...but the jalapeno, cayenne and ancient reds aren't showing yet....I grow the lettuce in a 6 x 4 inch square planter ....if you have never seen a lettuce seed......just for giggles you should buy an envelope of them....they are so small......just amazes me that a head of lettuce can come from this spec.......I just spread a bunch of the seeds into the soil....let them come up and then split them apart later....looks like it might be soon.
