it was another warm day....bad storms last night....
we didn't get hit the hardest though, Flint got over 5 inches of rain.
I cleaned the coop out tonight...nothing yuckier than chicken poop... :(
We read a great post about putting twinkle lights on the ceiling of your chicken coop for the morning 4am - 7am wakeup...so we took out the big bulky lights and stapled some christmas lights to the ceiling....low wattage and not in the way like the heat lamps were.
you can see the twinkle lights really good in this shot......these are the old gates we found on the property that we use for roosts.....the girls love them....and they hold everyone!!!
