had a wonderful rain storm in Michigan today...we saw NONE of it.....again probably
2 miles away it was a down pour...and the Detroit area got hammered....
we are still in need of some rain....next chance is tomorrow evening...we'll see!!!

First day of school went well for our grandkids here in Hanover, stopped by
to see how everyone did and Jacob had poison ivy all over his face....
so we came back to the farm to get some medicine...and of course while
he was here he did some chores....collected the eggs....and picked
some veggies ....Thanks Jake!!!
made Chili and Salads for dinner.....
while watering this evening...noticed the Garlic Chives are flowering...
found some recipes on line for the flower part....we use the stalk part in all kinds
of recipes.....if we make one using the flower....we will let you know.
