my blog for today (Friday) actually starts last night....
when Ross got home at 5pm we picked 65lbs of tomatoes....
and then i was off to Choir Practice, Prayer Meeting and Finance Meeting
at church.....while I was there...Ross got all of the tomatoes blanched
and added the ingredients for our spaghetti sauce.....so when I arrived
home at 9:15pm...there were (2) 14 quart stock pots ready to be canned.....
we finished this morning at 12:30am....
28 quarts of Spaghetti Sauce....

my chicken mamas have been laying consistently 18 - 22 eggs daily....we
are really happy with those numbers.....TODAY...I actually got 24 eggs....
one had a shell that hadn't hardened yet so it broke over some of the other eggs...
but it is WONDERFUL.....to have 25 mamas and get 24 eggs....YEAH!!!!

8 days ago I moved the chickens to another spot in the yard so their pen area could
start to regrow the grass....
moved them back today.....looks a bit better!!!
we were forcasted for over 3 inches of rain this evening.....this is what we were told this
morning on the news....looking at radar right now and it is supposed to be pouring down
rain on us .....and what did it do......it split right over the top of us again....
not sure why it keeps doing this.......I wish it would stop....
