yesterday was a warm day....mid 70's....probably won't see that
again anytime soon....went out on the boat in the afternoon for a bit.

fall weather is finally setting in today....high 50's during the day
and upper 30's at night for the next week.....the garden is still
doing well.....here is some of the lettuce....
we are about 20 minutes from where Michigan, Ohio and Indiana meet
and we will be at PEAK color within the next 10 days.....here is the Cecile tree..

made some Dutch Oven Bread today...Recipe on August 17
the dough rises again in the dutch oven....
it will actually push the 7lb lid up ....AMAZING!!!
finished product.....
we had Joe and family over for spaghetti dinner...and we used this bread
for garlic cheese bread.....YUMMY!!!
the kids ate the entire fruit platter....
