woke up in Chicago......LOVE being with my family.
we went to the Lincoln Park Zoo and the Botanical Gardens....
then we bought our mascot for the trip.. Lincoln the Piggy bank...
only us farm folk find a John Deere tractor in downtown chicago....

then off to see the flowers....it was beautiful!!!
from here we went back to Alex and Jason's House and
up to the roof ...they live in Wrigleyville...so it was a great view...
after dinner at their house...we all got ready to go see Alex in her
Second City Comedy Club Conservatory Show.....there were
3 different performances and they were FUNNY!!!! we are
really proud of you sweetheart.....
(I have no pictures from this point forward because they were
deleted somehow....stupid camera...or maybe stupid operator)
we left Chicago this morning from Union Station.....got a great shot
of the grand staircase from The Untouchables movie....but I can't show you,
because it got deleted....they were also setting up some big party in the main
part.....probably something to do with the elections.
we arrived back to Michigan to snow and ice....Ross' mom lives in
West Virgina and they have over 2 1/2 feet of snow on the ground
because of Super Storm Sandy....CRAZY Weather!!!!
back to Living off the Land tomorrow....
