Today we went grocery shopping for the 1st time in 2012.....we spent $62 .....we should be good for the rest of the month (except for milk).... the $1912 goal for groceries breaks down to about $40 a week....doing good so far!!!  :)

January 13, 2001 is when Ross' dad passed away....on this day we fly his flag (the one that was on his coffin) on our flag pole and we generally try to have the same meal for dinner each year ....it is a simple casserole and was brought to us right after he passed to help feed all the folks at the house.

Hamburger/Tater Tot Casserole:
1 lb hamburger
1 can cream of mushroom
1 pkg of frozen corn
1 pkg tater tots
1 tsp salt

in a casserole dish....layer the hamburger, corn, soup and arrange a blanket of tater tots over the top

Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes
