did lots of yard work today, mowed the front yard....did some weed whipping...
weeded the garden and then watered the garden....Andy, our weatherman says
that the next 2 days we could have lots of rain....meaning over 1 inch....
we will believe it when we see it.

we bought the farm in September 1995 ... built sometime in the 1850's and we are only the second
family to live in it....we completely gutted the inside and started all over....every wall was removed
(they were lathe and plaster) and new electric and plumbing was installed while the walls
were open.....the floors were all completely redone as well....basically the outside of the house
stayed the same and the inside was brand new....we put insulation and drywall in every room in
under 30 days....which is no small feat as there are 14 rooms...and it was all done by Ross
and I with help from family....we moved our stuff in on October 1, 1995 and then completed
the rooms one at a time..
