Rain....GLORIOUS....Rain
not sure how much we got.....but it rained overnight and then a bit more this morning...
it is crazy to look at radar and see that it is still raining all over the state of Michigan...but not in south central....Oh well.....we are THANKFUL for what we did get....
we picked the Apples from the approx 100 year old Harvest Apple Tree....we knew the frost took most...but again, we are THANKFUL for the small basket full...it will be enough for a pie....

the hummingbirds are enjoying this 20+ degree cool down.....
they have been very active all day....
baked some Banana Nut Bread....recipe on January 4, 2012
ran out of sandwich bread yesterday......so........recipe on January 29, 2012
off to Prayer Meeting tonight and then Ross is taking me to the Capri Drive-In...
we try to go a couple of times during the season....we are so glad that Michigan still has so many
Drive-Ins....the CAPRI is in Coldwater and is about 45 minutes south-west of the farm.
I will post pictures tomorrow....
